German Master Tech

Andreas and his amazing team came highly recommended by my uncle, who is as anal about his vehicles as I. We recently acquired an R107 560SL and an R129 SL500 and thought it would be a great time to give German Master Tech a try. We dropped both cars off, essentially with an open wallet, and asked that they please look them over and give them anything they need. Any other shop would have used that as an opportunity to run up the bill but Andreas did only what they ACTUALLY needed. If that isn't honesty I don't even know what is. I literally got the bill and said 'that's all?'; I was looking for the rest of the invoice. Andreas called me with status updates often and during one call informed me the tires on the R107 were like 12 years old and need replacing. I asked if that is a service he offers and he said no but he would take care of it. Again, any other shop would have been like 'we don't do that, go to a tire shop'. The scariest part of buying classic cars is finding a trustworthy person who actually knows what they're doing to keep them running. Now that we've found Andreas that fear is gone. Also, for those who care (like me) they use LiquiMoly oil; which I firmly believe

Can't say enough nice things about this auto repair shop! I've been going to them for 20+ years to repair my 1997 Porsche Boxster and they've always treated me right. It's worth a drive from "country" miles away, but we happen to live just down the street. At first, it was just oil changes. They charge less than the dealership does. Did you know that for some cars an oil change requires dropping the engine? They also do brake work. Lately, my car was making strange engine noises and I thought it was all over for this car. Andreas checked it out and found that my water pump was broken. He had it replaced and everything was fine. While he was there, they also fixed a broken window and a heating issue. I think they may have also fixed a malfunctioning wiper blade problem I'd been having. The last question they ask when you leave your car is whether you need to have it back that day. I trust German Master Tech with my car.

Andreas and his team are honest and knowledgeable. I had a very peculiar issue with my Audi and he was able to solve it when others could not. The prices are very reasonable and he will not try to sell you on a services you don’t need. He also explains everything thoroughly. I highly recommend this business.

We used Andreas & his team to maintain our 2020 BMW 540i and 2019 Audi Q7 for 5 years. They did great work and were fairly priced. We moved out of state six months ago and in our first oil change by a local mechanic they told us we needed over $2,000 of additional work done to my BMW. I was skeptical and sent Andreas their estimate and pictures of the "issue". He told us the repairs were unnecessary and the labor and parts were overpriced by 30%. We will find a different local mechanic. We miss his integrity and conservative approach to car repair!

Andreas + team are INCREDIBLE. I had a dead battery on my X5 that was purchased from an auto parts store down the street - Andreas told me it was a bad battery and was actually still covered under warranty. He actually WENT DOWN to the place that I purchased the battery from originally and got it replaced under a warranty swap so that I didn’t have to do it myself. I am blown away by the kindness and customer service - he has always done a wonderful job on my oil changes and charges extremely fair prices so I don’t feel like I’m getting overcharged, ever. Customer for life!!! Thank you Andreas!!!
